ROCHESTER, NY, September 04, 2013 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Nothing is more frustrating than having your Morning Joe go cold before you can drink it or having your iced soy skinny java latte get watered down when it gets warm too quickly. JavaSkinz is using phase change technology to solve that problem.
"Most sleeves are only meant to keep your hand from burning. All of the products that use phase change materials currently on the market are designed to be dropped into your drink. We wanted something that looked good, was easy to use, didn't have to go into a drink and kept hot coffee hot and cold coffee cold." - Michael Rodriguez, Creator, JavaSkinz
JavaSkinz is a reusable coffee sleeve which insulates your drink, protects your hands, and cuts waste by eliminating disposable coffee sleeves. However JavaSkinz are no ordinary reusable coffee sleeves: they use phase change material packs inside the sleeve to regulate the temperature of both hot and cold drinks.
The hot beverage packs absorb excess heat from the coffee after it is first poured. Over time the heat is transferred back into the coffee keeping it hotter nearly twice as long. The cold packs spend a few minutes in the freezer and are then able to keep a drink cold up to an hour longer.
JavaSkinz has already been tested to prove its performance, and it has recently been beta-tested by real coffee drinkers, who have fallen in love with the product.
"I have used other 'insulating' sleeves. They don't seem to do anything. JavaSkinz was amazing. My coffee was still hot an hour later, and with my job, I often spend an unexpected hour away from my four dollar, precious coffee. It will pay for itself in a month or less. Everyone needs one of these." - Linda R., Syracuse, NY
Using the funding from Kickstarter campaign, the JavaSkinz team will be able to begin full scale production of JavaSkinz and offer them on the JavaSkinz website for $9.95.
