Jackson Design and Remodeling Named to Inc. Magazine's 2013 List of Fastest Growing Private Companies in U.S.

    SAN DIEGO, CA, September 07, 2013 /24-7PressRelease/ -- San Diego remodeling firm Jackson Design and Remodeling has once again earned a spot on the Inc. 5000, Inc. Magazine's annual list of the fastest growing private companies in America. As an Inc. honoree, JDR joins LivingSocial, Edible Arrangements, CDW and Lifelock, among other prominent brands featured on this year's list. In addition, JDR also earned spots on Remodeling Magazine's Top 550 and Qualified Remodeler Magazine's Top 500, annual lists of the nation's top remodeling firms based on sales and revenue.

Qualified Remodeler publishes its annual "Top 500" based on the following criteria: Annual sales volume for the previous year, total number of years in business, association membership, certified employees on staff, industry awards and community service. Each company submitted a letter or audited statement from their CPA to verify their total volume of sales. Jackson Design and Remodeling has been ranked on the Top 500 list every year since 2004. This year, Jackson Design and Remodeling was ranked at #100, up from its previous spot at #123, and also received special star recognition for awards, certifications and community service.

Remodeling Magazine's "Remodeling 550" is a list of the nation's largest residential renovation companies. It comprises four categories: full service, specialty and replacement, insurance restoration companies and franchise operations. The rankings are based on CPA certified statements on annual sales volume. JDR ranked #25 on the 2013 list, up from #29 in 2012.

Inc. Magazine's "2013 Inc. 500/5000" measures revenue growth from 2009 through 2012. To qualify, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by March 31, 2009. Additionally, they had to be U.S.-based, privately held, for profit, and independent--not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies--as of December 31, 2012. JDR ranked #3525 on the list, up from #3682 in 2012. For San Diego companies on the list, JDR ranked #76.
