Prime Motor Group Hosts South Shore Pet Adoption Event

    HANOVER, MA, September 07, 2013 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Although animal lovers are not hard to come by, shelters sometimes struggle to find homes for the dogs, cats and other pets they rescue and house. Raising awareness among the public is key for shelter pets to survive and thrive in caring homes. With this in mind, New England-based Prime Motor Group is hosting a pet adoption event. The event will take place from noon to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 8, at Prime Infiniti in Hanover, Mass. Adoptable dogs and cats from three local shelters will be in attendance and ready to meet the public.

Participants include Newton-based Last Hope K9 Rescue, Scituate Animal Shelter of Massachusetts and the South Shore Humane Society of Braintree. Each participating shelter has a no-kill policy, provides its community with pet adoption services and educates the public on humane animal population control measures.

"Partnering with these shelters is just one way that we're showing our dedication to the community," said David Hazlett, general manager of Prime Infiniti, a Massachusetts Infiniti dealer. "We're really looking forward to being part of this event and to meeting so many wonderful animals up for adoption. In addition to a dog and cat meet-and-greet, the event will feature a cook out and a raffle to benefit the participating shelters. The raffle prizes will include free auto service from Prime Infiniti, like oil changes and reconditioning packages, a family photo shoot and a trip to Boston Bowl Hanover. All attendees will receive gift bags, and adoption forms will be available should they wish to start the pet adoption process.
