MANTENO, IL, September 11, 2013 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Zip-Pak will feature its state-of-the-art flexible packaging technology at PACK EXPO 2013, Booth C-1505, September 23-25.
Among the many flexible packaging solutions by Zip-Pak are:
Pour & Lok
Pour & Lok is a resealable packaging solution that combines easy opening with pour spout functionality. A press-to-close, foldable zipper is pre-applied to film in the side gusset creating a partial opening that forms the package's easy-to-use pour spout.
Zip360
The Zip360 resealable pouch has a wide opening that allows easy access to contents. It features pour-spout functionality for easy product dispensing. The unique package format reseals two ways for neater stacking and easier access. The Zip360 flexible pouch also accepts full-panel graphics for more visual impact at point of purchase.
Vector
The Vector Resealable Matrix Fastener closes on itself and has no end termination, enabling consumers to easily scoop and pour package contents with full perimeter re-sealability. Resealable Matrix Fasteners are a family of self-mating closures that represent an easy-to-use alternative to traditional zipper profiles. Vector is an ideal zipper for a wide range of package formats thanks to a reseal matrix that is easier to align and superior air-seal capabilities, when compared to other closures.
Zipbox
Also being featured is Zipbox, a hybrid packaging format that combines the consumer-preferred attributes of flexible and rigid packaging into a novel combination of materials that is both value adding and user-intuitive. It provides an ideal solution to the long-standing consumer need for easily resealing a carton and maintaining product freshness after opening. Zipbox is being co-developed by Zip-Pak and T.H.E.M., a leader in technology transfer and packaging solutions.
