Element Power Americas Continues Solar Success

    PORTLAND, OR, September 13, 2013 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Following the successful sale of 2GW of solar projects in the US, Mexico, and Chile, Element Power Americas has concentrated its solar development efforts on smaller projects serving utility, government, commercial and industrial customers. Building on this success, Element Power was recently selected by Hawaiian Electric Company, subject to PUC approval, for fast-track negotiations on a solar facility to supply renewable energy to the island of Oahu. Element Power Americas was also one of only 6 small businesses awarded Multiple Award Task Order Contracts (MATOC) by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Engineering and Support Center, Huntsville and the Army Energy Initiatives Task Force (EITF).
