Calbc.eu Website Relaunched
After a complete redesign the science website is online again.
Calbc.eu is pleased to announce the re-launch of its website located at http://www.calbc.eu.
NEW YORK, NY, September 21, 2013 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Calbc.eu is pleased to announce the re-launch of its website located at http://www.calbc.eu. CALBC has been an EU sponsored project to develop the largest annotated corpora.
CALBC has proven to be successful and Calbc.eu is delighted to present the findings in an easy to understand way to scientists and the interested public.
The challenge has solved the following problems:
- The development of large annotated corpora has been too much time consuming.
- The current solutions do not meet the demand.
- The complexity of the current solutions is too high.
The solutions have been the following:
- Starting with a large scale corpus of 100,000 abstracts the corpus has been annotated and formalized.
The challenges of this task:
- First time ever conducted.
- A very big task.
- No success guarantee.
Calbc.eu is a website dedicated to the CALBC challenge. We aim to inform the general public and scientists. Through our new website we hope to reach a larger audience.
