NEW DELHI, INDIA, September 26, 2013 /24-7PressRelease/ -- It is no surprise to anyone to learn that there is mass poverty in India at the moment and many, many problems, particularly with children and other vulnerable people. Any endeavour that manages to help with the situation is a noble one, and should be applauded. The work of one particular organisation called the Relief India Trust shows such an endeavour.
Relief India Trust is currently involved in a wide variety of relief programs for the betterment of the lives of Indian children, specifically those who are living in poverty. This particular trust takes up appropriate measures and brings in suitable programs that help to push towards the rehabilitation of people who are living in difficult and challenging circumstances.
Part of the work that Relief India Trust is carrying out centres around contentious issues of a medical variety. These issues cover areas such as cancer and AIDS, and the Relief India Trust has established camps all around the country that help people to first be aware of the situation and then secondly seek treatment.
There has been much media coverage recently about slum children in India. The scenes that have been witnessed on TV and in the media generally are distressing and upsetting. Nobody likes to see children suffer, and Relief India Trust is doing its best to make the situation better for these young people. They are doing this by making sure that the essentials these young people need to survive and thrive are delivered to them on a regular basis. All of this is free and includes the provision of nutritious food and medicines that help them make proper physical progress as they grow. Clothing is also deliver to these young children free of cost and on a consistent basis.
The trust also works hard to set up schools for children who are living in poverty in India. Education is a major issue in these areas, and the less children have access to it, they will find themselves suffering financially in the future. There will also find themselves having to work in inhumane conditions, just to make money to pay their families. Relief India Trust believes in education and has provided schools as part of this.
Medicines are distributed freely in the relief programs that the trust has set up. The poor in India are receiving medical and surgical treatment, all because of the support of the Relief India trust. A small team of medical volunteers works with the trust to provide this support.
The work that the trust carries out is positive and very supportive of the country and its needs. Children in particular take great benefit and comfort from the fact that the trust is around and available to help them with their needs. Their work continues and will continue for a number of years ahead. As long as there are poor children in India who need help, Relief India Trust will be there to help them, and offer them the kind of support they need to survive.
