Vistek to Bring Greg Gorman to Toronto for Exclusive, Hands-on Engagement November 13-17

    TORONTO, ON, September 26, 2013 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Vistek Ltd. (in partnership with Epson Canada) has announced an exclusive event November 13 - 17, featuring a lecture and workshop with portrait photographer Greg Gorman. Gorman, a 45-year portraiture veteran, has created some of the most iconic, instantly recognizable celebrity portraits in recent memory. Those stars include Andy Warhol, Michael Jordan, Diana Ross, Jimi Hendrix and many more.

During the lecture (Nov. 13th), Gorman plans to share stories and anecdotes from his illustrious career, providing insight into his methods, techniques and process.

Vistek is also presenting a larger, 3-day portrait and fine art workshop event with Gorman, beginning November 15th, and continuing till the 17th. Gorman conducted a similar, sold-out workshop in 2012, where photographers had the opportunity to work in a hands-on, direct environment.

During the workshop, Epson Canada will be providing attendees use of its EPSON Stylus Pro 4900 and EPSON Stylus Pro 3880 photo printers as well as photo paper to take their finished photos home on. Vistek will be providing lighting, tripods and more from Profoto and Kino Flo.

Among two of Greg's most influential books are Framed and In Their Youth.

Greg will be discussing material found in those books at his lecture, as well as autographing them after his Q&A period.

According to event organizer Vistek, the tickets for both events are "flying out the door."
