NEW SOUTH WALES, AUSTRALIA, September 26, 2013 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Dr. Ismail Larney, Clinical Dental Tutor for TAFE New South Wales, has been recognized by Worldwide Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in dentistry.

Currently, Dr. Larney works as the clinical dental tutor at TAFE New South Wales, a higher education institution. He also serves as an integral part of curriculum design and development. To date, Dr. Larney names his first maxillofacial procedure in 1990 as his greatest career achievement. Recognized for years of invaluable contributions to dentistry and higher education, Dr. Larney has garnered several distinctions. He was a licentiate to the British Institute of Surgical Technologists, a participant at the Monash University Lecture, invitated to the 10th World Congress of Comparative Education, and named an Honorary Citizen by the City of FortWorth, Texas. He attributes his success to core values on ethics, responsibility, hard work, and treating others with respect.
Dr. Larney is also concerned with investigating the feasibility of introducing a degree award for dental technicians regarding the physiology of the head and neck. Living by the motto "I am what I am because of who we all are", he has adopted the ancient African philosophy of Ubuntu. Many influential world leaders, such as Mahatma Gandhi, Martin Luther King Jr., and Nelson Mandela, applied the Ubuntu theory of "humanity to others" when making significant changes in the world. Dr. Larney has succeeded in publishing works in this field of knowledge and plans to continue writing and publishing in the coming years.
Ever eager to keep abreast of changes in his field, Dr. Larney is a member of the Australian Dental Prosthetists Association, Institute of Maxillofacial Technology, and African Studies Association of Australasia and the Pacific (AFSAAP). Naturally philanthropic, he is also the founding director of Educompass Children's Charity in Sydney, Australia, an avid supporter of World Vision, and charitably involved with Amnesty International. Away from the demands of his work, he enjoys golfing, landscaping, and studying fine art, particularly sculptures.
