Worldwide Who's Who Names Derek Hollis Professional of the Year in Business Services

    LONDON, September 27, 2013 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Derek Hollis, Founding Partner, Operations Director of Interact, has been named a Worldwide Who's Who Professional of the Year in Business Services. While inclusion in Worldwide Who's Who is an honor, only a small selection of members in each discipline are chosen for this distinction. Mr. Hollis has 17 years of experience as a founding partner and operations director of Interact. As an expert in training and logistics, he is responsible for running a team of project managers, overseeing logistics, training and assessment. Mr. Hollis spent several years with repertory companies throughout the UK and with the National Theatre to co-found his own touring company, "Not the National Theatre," where he also worked as an actor, producer, and director for six years. Following this experience, he left the company to found "Meridian Theatre Company," which is currently a charitable company that supports other small-scale theater companies. Mr. Hollis is a co-founder and director of Interact and manages the operations team of four project managers. He also works with recruitment examining briefings and scripts, using the company's bespoke skills database to select actors. In this way, he ensures that the most appropriate actor, writer or facilitator is selected for each role.

Mr. Hollis attributes his success to never standing still, and remaining innovative. He became involved in his profession because he wanted to use drama and theater skills to help people communicate. Mr. Hollis received a Bachelor of Arts in English literature and drama from The University of Warwick. To give back to his community, he contributes to the Meridian Theatre Company. In years to come, Mr. Hollis intends to expand the services of the company.
