Kingdom of Pirates 1.2: New Virtual Currency Introduced

    SHANGHAI, CHINA, October 01, 2013 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The developer Toivon Studio has confirmed the upcoming release of the long-anticipated Kingdom of Pirates 1.2 C an MMORPG for iOS. With the exception of many useful improvements, the game will also feature a brand new fishing system, which will add a new virtual currency to the game - fish. A Pawn shop will also be introduced into the game. It will be a place where different types of fish can be exchanged for valuable items.

Kingdom of Pirates is a magical story at sea, where pirates unite in order to recover the lost treasures of the legendary pirate Captain Drake. While pirates explore islands and advance to higher seas, they can spend their free time fishing. In Kingdom of Pirates 1.2., different parts of the sea, such as the Sunrise Bay, the Foggy Strait or the Trepid Seas, will allow fishing for different species of fish. Sometimes pirates can even catch treasure chests with amazing rewards.

The new Kingdom of Pirates 1.2 will feature 5 different fishing rods and dozens of fish species. Pirates can 'take' their catch to the Pawn shop, where the fish can be exchanged for useful in-game items.

The lucky players among the pirates can also fish out of guild fragments. If a player collects enough of those, they will be able to access the Guild Mode levels. Then players can call on guildies to face the team mode challenges together. If the guildies team up and win, all members of the guild will receive rewards, sent to them as mail attachments.

Since its release on August 16th, Kingdom of Pirates has been downloaded several hundred thousand times from the iTunes App Store. Its latest update, Version 1.1, has received outstanding reviews from players all over the world. While Kingdom of Pirates is free-to-play, players can also accelerate their progress in the game by purchasing rubies.

Rubies can be used to speed-up cooldowns, purchase rum, collect gold, and buy materials for weapon upgrades. Ruby purchases can also give players VIP ranks, which they can then use for an abundance of privileges like bonus training slots, additional bag slots, and extra daily quests.
