Worldwide Who's Who Names Lena C. Marchetta Professional of the Year in Music

    NORTH MIDDLETOWN, NJ, October 1, 2013 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Lena Marchetta, Director of Guitar Conservatory, has been named a Worldwide Who's Who Professional of the Year in Music. While inclusion in Worldwide Who's Who is an honor, only a small selection of members in each discipline are chosen for this distinction. These special honorees are distinguished based on their professional accomplishments, academic achievements, leadership abilities, years of service, and the credentials they have provided in association with their Worldwide Who's Who membership.

Ms. Marchetta has 45 years of professional experience, with 38 years as a director of Guitar Conservatory. In the course of her duties, she arranges appointments and handles the business operations of the company. Ms. Marchetta attributes her success to her self-discipline and hard work. Inspired to enter the music business by her teacher, Miguel Angel, she studied with top leaders in the classical guitar industry.

Ms. Marchetta received a Bachelor of Arts in Humanities from Thomas Edison State College in 2013. In addition to her degree, she received a certificate in audio technology from the Institute of Audio Research. She is a member of the Society for the Preservation of the Classical Guitar, served as president of Lutheran Youths of Zion from 1970-1975, and participated in Holy Family Academy Intramurals from 1970-1975. She also served as a music minister for the Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, where she played guitar for folk services from 1971 until 1975. In 1971, she was designated in the upper two percent of intelligence among those who took the National Education Development Test. In years to come, Ms. Marchetta plans to expand her conservatory.
