Dawn Christian Recognized by Worldwide Branding for Excellence in Project Management

    BIRMINGHAM, ALABAMA, October 1, 2013 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Dawn Christian, Project Manager of Ascension Health Information Services, has been recognized by Worldwide Branding for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in project management.

Ms. Christian has 14 years of experience in information technology, with nine years as a project manager of Ascension Health Information Services. In the course of her duties, she is responsible for ensuring that all projects are completed on time. In addition, she conducts proper team staffing and writes reports in Microsoft SQL. She also creates data transformation services packages for importation into business intelligence software, including HBI and Hyperion, for usage in reporting for upper management.
Ms. Christian has a strong background in the documentation of policies, procedures and visual presentations in an effort to educate others on how their actions affect both upstream and downstream executives. Ms. Christian advises people who would like to be successful in project management to follow God's path, have care for the cause, and "imagine with all your mind, believe with all your heart and achieve with all your might."

Looking back, Ms. Christian attributes her success to God, the many things she learned from her family, and perseverance. In addition, she credits her determination, perfectionism, desire to excel, ability to think outside of the box, and patience. She became involved in her profession after starting her career as a secretary and working her way up the corporate ladder. The most gratifying aspects of her career include working with her team members as a family, instead of individual people. She feels that empowering her team members is very rewarding, and each project that comes to fruition is an accomplishment for all of them as well as for the patients. In addition, Ms. Christian finds the personal knowledge that she has aided in caring for the sick and needy, even in a very small capacity, very rewarding.

In years to come, Ms. Christian hopes to obtain project management professional certification, Oracle certification and Microsoft SQL certification.
