Worldwide Who's Who Names Paul van IJsselstein Professional of the Year in Aviation & Aerospace

    THE HAGUE, NETHERLANDS, October 8, 2013 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Paul van IJsselstein, President and Chief Executive Officer of Stratagem Group B.V., has been named a Worldwide Who's Who Professional of the Year in aviation and aerospace. While inclusion in Worldwide Who's Who is an honor, only a small selection of members in each discipline are chosen for this distinction. These special honorees are distinguished based on their professional accomplishments, academic achievements, leadership abilities, years of service, and the credentials they have provided in association with their Worldwide Who's Who membership.

He co-founded the Stratagem Group B.V. in 2004 after he held senior management positions at Fokker, Thales and Boeing. The Stratagem Group, of which he obtained full ownership in 2011, is an aviation and aerospace business that offers business development, strategy, new product development, advanced technical training methods and project management for all aspects of the aviation and transport sector. Throughout his career Mr. van IJsselstein has been responsible for leading large programs in different countries, focusing on market and product innovations and processes, marketing, business development, strategy and initiating strategic alliances in the space & aviation sector. During this time, he has become an expert in understanding geopolitical developments and in developing market and product strategy.

Mr. van IJsselstein attributes his success to his creativity, strategic mindset, ability to create new fields of applications and management of relationships. He obtained a Bachelor of Science in electronic and information technology from the Technical University at Haarlem, the Netherlands in 1974. He is a member of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics, has an associate fellowship of the Royal Institute of Navigation and is a member of the Netherlands Aerospace Group. Looking ahead, he aspires to create new dedicated organizations, capable of meeting the demands for new innovative systems and processes in the field of life-cycle support of aircraft, such as anti-corrosion & surface treatment, bonded repair of primary aircraft structures and advanced computer based technical training methods. He is currently a Board member of the European Knowledge Center for Composite Repair ("EKCC") and of the Material & Production Technology ("MPT").
