X-Factor's Elaine Gibbs Releases New Single "Last Vegas"

    LOS ANGELES, CA, October 11, 2013 /24-7PressRelease/ -- X-Factor season one star Elaine Gibbs today released her newest single "Last Vegas," written and arranged by acclaimed producer Richard Niles. Originally intended to be the title song of the upcoming CBS Films release "Last Vegas" starring Robert De Niro, Morgan Freeman, Michael Douglas, and Kevin Kline, Niles decided to produce it anyway after the studio opted not to include it in the film.

After being introduced by their manager Gerry Pass of Chrome Artists Management, Niles teamed with Gibbs for the song, calling her "a modern Tina Turner - a raunchy, soulful woman with a killer voice and a massive sound." Following a successful Kickstarter campaign, Niles recorded the track with some of LA's most prominent musicians, including saxophonist Mike Parlett and pianist Bob Malone. Niles considers Malone's performance so explosive that Niles asked him to create a special bonus Instrumental Version, which will be given away free with every download.

Niles became a prominent producer in London, working with powerhouses such as Paul McCartney, Ray Charles, Tina Turner, and Cher. His contributions have sold over 250 million records worldwide.

Gibbs rose to prominence on the first season of the X-Factor, gaining her over a million social media followers.

Niles proclaims "Last Vegas" to be a song that "rocks like the Grand Canyon and is catchier than measles. Elaine Gibbs shreds the song like a gospel tornado. A hit by any other name is still a hit - and this one is named Last Vegas."
