New Shop Opens in Greenville, South Carolina

    GREENVILLE, SC, October 18, 2013 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Carolina Shoppe recently began showcasing Carolina inspired gifts and decor at Palmetto Home and Garden on Laurens Road in Greenville.

"We felt that Palmetto Home and Garden was a great fit for our product line. This popular home decor gallery gives our customers the opportunity to touch and feel product that until now has been offered exclusively online. Our goal was to make this option available to our customers before the holiday season was in full swing," explains Brandon Smith, founder of Carolina Shoppe.

Based in the Upstate of South Carolina, Carolina Shoppe launched this summer with internet shopping at www.carolinashoppe.com. Carolina-inspired finds are available in categories such as wall decor, kitchen linens, and local art. "Our goal is to enhance customers' connections to the Carolinas by offering gifts and decor influenced by the special memories of college, vacations, and our families," Brandon elaborates.

Palmetto Home and Garden originally opened their doors at the former Greenville Mall location before relocating to Laurens Road a few years later.

Brandon likes to point out, "Palmetto Home and Garden is located across the street from Old Time Pottery on Laurens Road. It's convenient, but away from much of the shopping traffic. We like the idea of a home shopping destination that is off the beaten path and ideal for Greenville shoppers seeking a respite from the craziness of Woodruff Road."

Brandon supports this multi-channel, multi-state approach by explaining, "Our gifts feature product inspired by North and South Carolina. We were once a unified territory and we still find common ground in our similar geography, shared vacations, and the stories that make us Carolinians.
