Jackson Design and Remodeling Senior Designer Tatiana Machado-Rosas Named to ASID San Diego Chapter Board of Directors

    SAN DIEGO, CA, October 21, 2013 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Jackson Design and Remodeling is proud to announce that Senior Designer Tatiana Machado-Rosas has been elected to the 2013-2014 ASID (American Society of Interior Designers) San Diego Chapter board as Director of Programs and Professional Development. JDR is also excited to announce that one of its kitchens has been selected for the upcoming ASID Fall Kitchen and Bath Tour, which showcases the best remodeling and design projects in San Diego. The 2013 Tour takes place Oct. 26 from 9am to 5pm. Tickets can be purchased online for $25.

Designed by JDR Senior Designer Sol Quintana Wagoner, a kitchen sparkling with modern glamour is one of the 8 San Diego kitchens selected for the Fall Kitchen and Bath Tour. Located in Point Loma, the kitchen was designed for a professional couple with an appetite for glamorous entertaining. The clients wanted an inviting kitchen to welcome large groups of friends and family. Upon entering the home, the newly remodeled kitchen quickly captures the eye with a circular chandelier hanging from a metallic silver ceiling. The dining area, kitchen and bar are in an expansive living area defined by sweeping vaulted ceilings. An extra-large island delineates the kitchen area, punctuated by a striking designer hood. The room glitters with purple, silver and charcoal hues. An intimate bar with seductive lighting opens to the backyard where the clients frequently entertain poolside.
