MB2x - Tampa Bay Start-up Takes Business Awards Triple Crown

    TAMPA, FL, October 24, 2013 /24-7PressRelease/ -- MB2x is making waves in Florida. The company recently took top honors at the 2013 Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce Small Business of the Year Awards, winning the start-up category.

The competition, which evaluates companies based on core values, financial success and community involvement, drew submissions from over 250 Tampa Bay businesses. Each submission required an in-depth application, financial evaluation, interviews and an onsite visit by judges.

The extensive five-month review process culminated in a sold-out ceremony at the Tampa Convention Center, where Mayor Bob Buckhorn presented MB2x with the Small Business of the Year Award. "Winning this award is a great honor. It is a privilege to be recognized by the Tampa Bay business community," said Ana Abraham, MB2x CEO. "Each step in this process made us a better company. We had to not only explain who we are, but make sure we were living up to the vision we set out."

In addition to being named Small Business of the Year, MB2x was also recently voted one of Tampa Bay's Best Places to Work by the Tampa Bay Business Journal. "The Best Places to Work Award is probably what I am most proud of," said Abraham.

MB2x was also named in the Top 50 Florida Companies to Watch for 2013 by GrowFL. Honorees were selected based on their growth, entrepreneurial spirit, innovation, integrity and community involvement.

With a growing list of accolades and two new products set to hit the market this year, MB2x shows no signs of slowing down, and CEO Ana Abraham is quick to reveal the driving force behind their success.
