Fulton County Georgia Small Business Awards

Brown received Fulton County Georgia's 2013 Minority-owned Small Business Award. This award acknowledges the achievements and success of Fulton County small businesses and their contributions to the county and the local community, and recognizes their innovation, positive response to adversity, and track record of business success. The award was presented by Fulton County Board of Commissioners Chair John Eaves during today's Board of Commissioners meeting and was televised live on station FGTV. Erin Rodgers, City of East Point's Economic Development Coordinator, nominated DeVan and CyQuest. Ms. Rodgers indicated, "DeVan's impact on the community, his employees and his colleagues, coupled with his unique vision and ability to adapt make a compelling case for him to receive this awards. DeVan values hard work and believes in results! He exhibits a willingness to take calculated risks, being results-oriented, while being deliberate and considerate in his decision-making."
