When Benjamin was a boy he believed in the afterlife. When he was bitten by a cat as a boy he vowed to bully and hate cats forever. When he was an adult Benjamin was startled by a stray cat at a rooftop dance party. He fell off the roof and the next morning he woke up inside a cardboard box. He was later taken in and adopted by his neighbor and friend and spent the rest of his life as the very thing he detested, a cat.

Lorrie Denise, is a San Francisco, California native and playwright of over 35 years. A self-proclaimed "artistic drama queen," L.D. endured the challenges of adolescent bullying and being labeled an "uncool weirdo" by writing plays. L.D. won awards for her plays and her television work was featured in two popular 1990s shows; In Living Color (Season 5) and Married With Children (Season 6). L.D. also wrote articles for the San Francisco Chronicle and My Bay Area Life magazine. In 2007 L.D. added writing novels to her repertoire. www.ldsargent.com
