Ms. Noar's ability to explain complex information has been honed by teaching art and yoga in classrooms and public places such as Noosa Leisure Centre
Marina Noar (nee Muecke) has been recognized by Worldwide Branding for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in teaching art and yoga.
For more than 30 years, Ms. Noar's ability to explain complex information has been honed by teaching art and yoga in classrooms and public places such as Noosa Leisure Centre, where she founded Noosa Yoga in early 2013 /24-7PressRelease/ --
Ms. Noar attributes her success to her professional and personal experiences. She holds a Master of Education degree from James Cook University, a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Queensland, and a Diploma of Teaching for art, English, and drama in secondary schools. She has also been awarded Certificates of Teaching for Foundation and Intermediate levels at The Yoga School.
Marina Noar started yoga while forging a remarkably independent career as a visual arts educator in Queensland. She taught in schools and universities, then promoted Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal art and artists in her galleries and exhibitions. She also developed regional art audiences by writing for regional publications. One of her weekly projects with The Cairns Post newspaper received a Pacific-Asia Newspaper Publishing Award in 1996, defeating all newspapers in the Asia-Pacific region.
But it was while recovering from shoulder pain that Marina discovered yoga. She soon realized that yoga healed all hurts and heightened awareness of everyday experiences,. She studied how yoga unites opposites in the mind and body. She began teaching yoga at Noosa Leisure Centre in 2005.
In 2007, her husband sustained spinal cord injuries after a bicycle accident broke his neck. Marina used yoga therapy to assist him on his long and painful journey back to breathing by himself, walking and well-being with partial quadriplegia. There are similar stories in testimonials from her yoga students.
Currently training beginners daily at Noosa Leisure Centre, with some classes for advanced yoga students, Marina Noar starts training Noosa Yoga teachers next year.
