The MarquisCast MT20 is an HDMI dongle small enough to fit in the palm of a hand that will wirelessly beam videos, photos, and music from an iOS or Android phone or tablet to a HDTV.
FREMONT, CA, October 30, 2013 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Matsunichi Inc., the company that introduced the 9.7" MarquisPad tablet for $199 last year, is introducing a new line of streaming media players to compete with the likes of Google, Roku, and Apple, among other brands, called the MarquisCast. The MarquisCast MT20 is an HDMI dongle small enough to fit in the palm of a hand that will wirelessly beam videos, photos, and music from an iOS or Android phone or tablet to a HDTV.
The Matsunichi MarquisCast MT20 is capable of streaming content through a built-in USB port, apps from a mobile device, and through Miracast technology. With the built-in USB port on the MarquisCast, users can insert a USB flash drive and playback local videos, photos, and music in full HD 1080p. The MarquisCast is compatible with hundreds of apps available for Android and iOS, such as flipps, which offers dozens of free content like music videos, movies, sports clips, and the latest news. Users will also be able to beam their personal videos, photos, and music from their mobile device straight to their HDTV. The streaming media player also supports Miracast mirroring, which will allow users to take their Android 4.2 or newer device, and mirror exactly what is on the Android device onto a HDTV in real-time, no wires or cables needed. With Miracast mirroring, virtually anything is possible: games, movies, video chatting, presentations, web browsing, and more. While Apple users won't be able to take advantage of Miracast mirroring, their phones and tablets will have direct compatibility with apps like YouTube, to beam straight to the MarquisCast and their HDTV.
The MarquisCast MT20 retails for just $59. Setting up the device only takes a few quick and easy steps. Once the MT20 is hooked up to a HDTV and connected to a Wi-Fi network, getting content streaming wirelessly from a mobile device to a HDTV is just a finger tap away.
