It is Amazing that the Keynote Speech at the WISE Education Summit by HH Sheikha Moza Was All About Singing the Praises of Innovation, as if the World is not Aware of the Significance of Innovation

    RIDGEFIELD PARK, NJ, November 01, 2013 /24-7PressRelease/ -- It is unbelievable that the entire speech was about explaining the significance and essentiality of innovation in education. Improving education through innovation is considered to be a well established essential pillar of education reform. The world is already well convinced of innovation's importance. Why she devoted her entire speech to push for innovation; when it is already a totally accepted reality is a big mystery. It is like thinking one is showing a new way to the world; when the world has traveled the route well, again and again.

The latest new innovation in education is the emerging subject of brain education. Brain education is what we still do not fully have and brain education is what we need. Imagine if HH Sheikha Moza's speech was about brain education and also a concrete step by step program detailing a whole new subject that teaches brain education. It would be the perfect speech that the world needs to hear and wake up to.

The WISE Summit should have been about announcing bold new initiatives that bring innovative education programs that the world needs and currently does not have. This summit is over but there is always next year. There is a whole year to prepare and polish a totally innovative agenda for next year. In the meantime it will be a good idea to invite experts to submit practical programs that teach brain education. These programs can be tested and fine tuned, well before the next summit. The findings can then be presented at the next WISE Summit.

The Wise Summit cannot be about giving speeches on well established ideas that are old news. The Wise Summit has to be about creating new pathways to an emotionally healthy world through freshly minted innovations in education. Innovations that the Qatar Foundation, through its huge brain/mind trust must and can help create.

The Wise Summit also cannot be about giving speeches on a wish list of education reforms, this wish list is also old news. The time for 'we need this and we need that' for education reform is over. The time for announcing a concrete step by step program to make the whole world wise is right here. The choice is in the hands of the Qatar Foundation leadership. We at the 4th R Foundation have figured out what is wisdom/brain/emotional-intelligence/life education. We are willing to offer all our knowledge that the Qatar Foundation can use to make education for life complete. The Qatar Foundation has the resources of mind/brain power powered with the pool of world class cutting edge professors. It is all about giving them a concrete road map for developing education for life. We can show them the way.
