Specialty Hospital of Washington Partners with Cell Phones for Soldiers

    WASHINGTON, DC, November 02, 2013 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The Specialty Hospital of Washington (SHW) will once again be participating as a donated drop off location for Cellphones for Soldiers in the Washington DC area. The Specialty Hospital of Washington will provide drop off bins at each of its campus locations: SHW- Hadley, 4601 Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue SW and SHW- Capitol Hill, 700 Constitution Avenue NE. Through donation of gently-used cellular phones, our troops serving in the United States Military overseas will have the opportunity for precious connection to their loves ones back home.

Beginning November 1 - 11 2013, residents can donate their phones at each hospital location. We are pleased to have the opportunity to participate with the "Cell phones for Soldiers" program. SHW has cared for many members of the armed services who have required extended acute care and we are proud to participate in and be an official drop -off cite for donated cellphones.
