Digital Physical Launches Kickstarter Campaign to Deliver Innovative 3d Virtual Reality Self-Publishing Platform For Designers

    LOS ANGELES, CA, November 07, 2013 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Digital Physical announced today that it will offer the Spacemaker virtual reality software system to designers and travel enthusiasts as part of their recently launched Kickstarter campaign. The campaign aims to create new software features and make the software accessible to the public in the first half of 2014.

Digital Physical, which includes a number of virtual reality veterans, architects and user experience designers, has set the funding goal at $100,000 USD. The Spacemaker system, acquired through Kickstarter, will include realistic 3d models of world landmarks and buildings, a real-time 3d visualizer, and a simple 3d model creation workflow to enable designers to quickly and easily experience what it's like to walk inside their designs.

Spacemaker is the first virtual reality system that enables designers, who are not software developers, the ability to create their own content for others to experience. This software system was designed to be portable, simple to use and take advantage of a number of virtual reality head mounted displays that are currently on the market for gamers.

"We've already tested versions of Spacemaker with over 40 designers and used their feedback to shape the product," Kemp said. "We know the design community is going to love this and we want them to drive the future features of the software. Spacemaker is scheduled for beta release in 2014. However, early supporters who back the project will receive a significant discount on the future retail price and will be among the first people in the worldE to get access to the innovative software.
