    EL SEGUNDO, CA, November 08, 2013 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Homebuilder Pardee Homes will send its team of walkers and runners to Santa Monica on Saturday, November 23, to participate in the HomeAid Los Angeles/Ventura chapter's "Steps to Shelter" fundraiser. The 5K Walk/Run will be staged at Santa Monica's Crescent Bay Park, and Pardee Homes is asking for your support for this chapter of the national non-profit, which builds and renovates multi-unit shelters for the homeless population.

"Some 60,000 individuals and families will find themselves without a place to call home on any given night here in Los Angeles and Ventura Counties, and many of these are children under the age of 5," said Joyce Mason, vice president of marketing for Pardee Homes and member of the HomeAid LA/Ventura Board of Directors.
