Mr. Sutter is a senior manager with over 36 years of proven success in sales and marketing in multinational companies in the ICT industry. As a natural creator, once he is shown the mission of a company, he will take it there. For the past two years, he has served as vice president of channel sales for Europe, the Middle East and Africa. He has extensive knowledge in infrastructure architecture and design, security and an excellent understanding of ICT in general. Additionally, he is an expert in the areas of security, sales, marketing, EMEA economies and cultures, SaaS, BPO, entrepreneurial vision, leadership and communication skills. Throughout his career, he has collected deep international knowledge and experience of the EMEA economies and cultures. His management style is target and results oriented with a combination of entrepreneurial vision, leadership and strong communication skills. In the course of his daily duties, he is tasked with leading the team, recruiting business partners, managing partner program development, and the integration, requirement and benefit of the software package for buyers in their due diligence process for mergers & acquisitions. Prior to his present position, he worked with Oracle in the positions of senior alliances manager applications for Germany, and director of mid-size applications programs. He was also
employed with Check Point Software Technologies Ltd as a global security sales manager, where he was responsible for complex security solutions with such customers as Nestle and Zurich Financial Services.
Looking back, Mr. Sutter attributes his success to being optimistic; he takes a challenge and makes it happen. He became involved in his actual position because he worked with Oracle for eight years and was responsible for growing the partnership for three years. He needed a change and saw this opportunity as a challenge. The highlight of his career was when he successfully wrote a partner program from scratch, earning executive vice president approval and company-wide certification; he initiated a seamless integration of the program throughout the organization. Some other highlights include achieving 145-percent and 148-percent of target in the first two years, increasing sales by EUR14.8 million, as well as winning major clients, including General Motors.
In order to stay current in his field, Mr. Paolo is a member of the Chartered Management Institute. Outside of his busy professional career, he enjoys keeping up with the local government, reading Rolling Stone magazine and listening to music. Mr. Sutter is fluent in Italian, German, French and English, and has a working understanding of Spanish and Portuguese. In the coming years, Mr. Sutter intends to lead a team to success.
