HOUSTON, TX, November 27, 2013 /24-7PressRelease/ -- EcoStim Energy Solutions, Inc. ("EcoStim") announced today that Miguel Di Vincenzo, a 28 year veteran of the oil and gas business, has agreed to join the Company as its Vice President of Global Sales and Technology.
EcoStim's President and Chief Executive Officer J. Chris Boswell stated, "Miguel brings to EcoStim a vast network of relationships in all of our targeted markets while at the same time having extensive technical and operational experience in those markets. Mr. Di Vincenzo will lead the executive team from a global sales and technology perspective and we are excited to work with him to build a first class sales organization focused on growing our customer base while at the same time assuring that our customers receive best in class service."
Most recently, Mr. Di Vincenzo served for six years as Vice President of Business Development & Technology for San Antonio International based in Houston, Texas. In this capacity, Mr. Di Vincenzo led a management team in charge of business development, commercial operations and marketing. He also led the engineering team responsible for the research and development of applied technologies for E&P Services which included fracturing, cementing, coiled tubing and directional drilling.
Prior to San Antonio International, he spent seven years with Pride International as Operations Director for North & South America following his role as Business and Technology Manager for the same region. In this capacity, he led a management team in charge of Pride's operations in northern Latin America, including Land Rigs and E&P Services which included cementing and coiled tubing. He also worked to develop integrated projects for mature fields operated by Pemex, Repsol, PDVSA, Eco-petrol and others. During this period, Mr. Di Vincenzo participated in several mergers and acquisitions in Brazil, Colombia and Mexico. He was also responsible for the start-up of the offshore cementing services division in Mexico, including a contract for ten new cementing units for Pemex.
Prior to Pride International, he spent the first twelve years of his career working for San Antonio International beginning as a field engineer working in Neuquen, Argentina and then working in various positions in Argentina, Bolivia, Peru and Venezuela. This included such services as stimulation, cementing, coiled tubing, underbalance and directional drilling, , wire line, fishing tools and integrated services.
He has published multiple technical papers regarding coiled tubing, rig-less completion and underbalanced drilling. During the past twenty years, Mr. Di Vincenzo has been an active member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers, the President of the IAPG and currently serves as the President of the Latin American Chapter of ICOTA (International Coiled Tubing Association).
Mr. Di Vincenzo has a Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of Mar del Plata in Argentina, a graduate degree in Oil and Gas Reservoirs from University of Zulia in Venezuela and a degree in Finance from Stanford University's Executive Program taught by the Graduate School of Business.
