When an electrical entity arrives to take the place of Anna's stillborn, some would reflect that prayers aren't always answered the way we'd expect them to be."
RIDGELAND, MS, December 10, 2013 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Sue Dent has decided to republish Electric Angel through her own S D Enterprises with a new concept: ISBN-less publishing. "Only once have I been with a publisher who had the potential to distribute my stories in volume. That publisher went under. Subsequent publishers were POD publishers meaning no distribution and no real need for an ISBN. Doing it this way, without an ISBN, I can get the best price on printing and pass the savings along to readers."
The front cover of the ISBN-less edition is the same masterpiece rendered by Mr. Nicholas Grabowsky of Halloween IV fame, owner of Black Bed Sheet Books and official distributor of Electric Angel with an ISBN. Gothic Illusionist and Independent film actor Master Ron Fitzgerald of DarkRealmmovie.com also still graces the front cover with a photo taken by the amazing Jim Sorfleet of SNS-photo.com. The back cover however holds a few more nice surprises. Up and coming actor Dave Vescio of Hick and many other films, portrays the villain Fritz Anderson and "Mr. Outrageous" Al Burke portrays one of the two officers.
"They were perfect additions," Ms. Dent says. "And I'm excited that they were excited to be a part of the cover."
EDITORIAL REVIEWS
"There were several parts that had me nearly giving myself paper-cuts to turn the page fast enough . . . I thoroughly enjoyed this story." ~ Open Book Society
The British Fantasy Society says: "Sue has produced another page turner and truly original concept and I am very excited for her next book." ~ Maryann Boo reviewer
I [Sue Dent] was told the initial review by Maryann, deemed to short to publish, read: "Simply Brilliant!"
"Sue Dent's storytelling was vivid . . . I truly could not put this book down once I started reading!" ~ Char Hardin for Horrorphilia.com and CharHardin.blogspot.com
"High Voltage Horror and Suspense Coursing Throughout 'Electric Angel' by Sue Dent" ~ Target Audience Magazine
What the story is about:
"Because of her cancer, Anna Chadwick wouldn't live long enough to carry her twin infants to term. Yet she wanted nothing more than for them to have a chance at living. Learning one would be stillborn didn't lessen her desire.
It would take a miracle....so she prayed for one.
When an electrical entity arrives to take the place of her stillborn, some would reflect that prayers aren't always answered the
way we'd expect them to be."

"The beauty of it," Sue says, "is that I now qualify for offset printing through Ingram's Lightning Source and the quantity I have to order to get the best price is doable. Electric Angel has a retail of $14.95 but the cost presently is $9.00! The more pre-orders--the bigger the savings. And that goes for pre-orders already made. If you pre-order it for $9.00 you may very well get it for less."
Ms. Dent is also offering free shipping to the US and internationally and an autographed copy as well. You won't find this edition anywhere else unless someone signs on to help distribute it. Even then you'd be paying more. Anyone interested in distributing any of my ISBN-less books can contact me at [email protected]
Accolades Sue has earned without being published by an established publisher and doing absolutely everything herself:
First Novel Never Ceese made the 2006 Bram Stoker Preliminary Ballot for Superior Achievement in a First Novel
Four-Star review left by Eric Wilson of Fireproof on Never Ceese
In 2009 Forever Richard made the British Fantasy Society Long List
In 2011 the British Fantasy Society asked if they could review Electric Angel just like they asked if they could review Forever Richard. The initial two word review by Maryann Boo, deemed to short to print: "Simply Brilliant!"
Do keep in mind that since I'm no longer traditionally published, my stories can no longer be considered for any award even if my writing proves worthy.

I [Sue Dent] created S D Enterprises when I purchased by first block of ISBN's from Bowker. So as far as that goes, it's just a name. Nothing more to it than that. Until I'm picked up by an established publisher, most likely not in this lifetime, I will publish all of my future books and even all of my past books without an ISBN and only available through S D Enterprises because I can offer the best prices that way.
