Tasheema L. Fair, MD, Recognized by Worldwide Who's Who for Excellence in Obstetrics & Gynecology

    FORT CAMPBELL, KY, December 19, 2013 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Dr. Tasheema Fair, Physician for the Obstetrics and Gynecology Department of Blanchfield Army Community Hospital, has been recognized by Worldwide Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in obstetrics and gynecology.

Upon completion of a Medical Doctorate at The University of Tennessee Health Science Center in 2005, Dr. Fair embarked on a career in obstetrics and gynecology which has spanned the past decade. In 2009, she assumed a position as a physician in the Obstetrics and Gynecology Department at Blanchfield Army Community Hospital. In 2011, Dr. Fair earned a title as Major in the United States Army. She has served her country as a military professional for the past 11 years and was deployed to Iraq from August 2011 through December 2011.

In her current position with the hospital, Dr. Fair conducts surgery, administers obstetrics and gynecologic treatment, and consults with patients on diagnosis and treatment. Her emphasis is on the whole person and their overall wellness. Dr. Fair is passionate about patient education and is emphatic that patients must learn how to care for themselves. With exemplary bedside manner and a breadth of industry know-how, Dr. Fair has become proficient in listening to and addressing patient needs.

With strengths in obstetrics and gynecology, Dr. Fair has achieved a multitude of professional successes. In 2009, she was inducted into Worldwide Who's Who as an associate member. In 2011, after earning rank as a United States Army Major, she was chosen as a VIP member. Since then, Dr. Fair has been named a Professional of the Year, featured in Pro-Files magazine, selected at a Top Female Executive, and highlighted on the Elite American website. In 2013, Dr. Fair was represented in the Calendar of Distinguished Professionals. She feels her success can be most aptly attributed to diligence, hard work, and passion for health care.

Ever eager to keep abreast of changes in the medical community, Dr. Fair is affiliated with the Georgia Medical Society, and the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
