Mr. Carr has traveled extensively in North America while involved in field service.
Looking back, Mr. Carr attributes his success to his parents' support, and those he has worked with, who have recognized and made use of his abilities. He became involved in his profession because he has always been mechanically inclined. He worked his way through the industrial trade skilled environment, has helped in the field of automation through a friend, and for a briefly worked for himself.
Mr. Carr studied mechanical engineering at Richmond Technical Center in 1987, and he earned a GED in 1979. In addition to his formal education, he received reliability green belt training from Honeywell International Inc. in 1999, as well as his reliability maintenance training. Mr. Carr is Rotoline and Opiline laser alignment certified.
