Ms. Welsh has 10 years of professional experience, with five years as a forensic consultant of Just Law Legal Pty Ltd. Over the years, she has been recognized as an expert in the fields of forensic consulting, medicine, photography, toxicology and anthropology. She is also skilled in explosives and blood splatter forensics, and pathology. On a daily basis, she is responsible for bookkeeping, as well as researching and reporting on forensic matters and overseeing the basic needs of the firm.

Looking back, Ms. Welsh attributes her success to her hard work and the confidence that she has in her own abilities. She became involved in her profession to make a difference in the area of forensics.

Ms. Welsh received a master's degree in forensic studies from the University of Canberra in 2012, a bachelor's degree in biomedical science and forensic biology from UTS in 2008, and a bachelor's degree in medical laboratory science from the University of Canberra in 1998. In addition to her degrees, she has received an AQF Certificate IV in pathology collection from the Canberra Institute of Technology in 2002. Ms. Welsh is a member of the Australian and New Zealand Forensic Science Society Incorporated, as well as the Golden Key International Honour Society. In recognition of her talent and dedication, she has received a Dean's Excellence Award from the University of Canberra in 2011 and 2009. To give back to her community, she contributes to the International Fund for Animal Welfare, RSPCA, and Riding for the Disabled.
