She is thankful that she is able to help improve others' quality of life
LA HABRA, CA, December 20, 2013 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Judith Lynn Cameron, Owner of Cosmic Angel Hypnotherapy and Healing, has been recognized by Worldwide Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in alternative medicine.
Dr. Cameron has 26 years of experience as the owner of Cosmic Angel Hypnotherapy and Healing. During this time, she has established herself as an expert in hypnotherapy, post-traumatic stress disorder treatments, and extraterrestrial encounters. In the course of her duties, she is responsible for treating individuals with stress and anxiety, assisting patients with post-traumatic stress disorder, and teaching classes through the international hypnosis federation. She also works with high school students and teens with test anxiety issues.
Dr. Cameron applied for the position of California Teacher in Space for NASA's 1985 program to send a teacher into space. After the Challenger exploded and a California teacher dropped out of the running, she was chosen for the position. In 1994, on the 25th anniversary of the Apollo 11 moon landing, she was selected as one of three American teachers to be present for a press conference in the East Room of the White House. At the press conference, she met President Bill Clinton, First Lady Hillary Rodham Clinton, Neil Armstrong, Michael Collins and Buzz Aldrin. Also in attendance were astronomers Eugene Shoemaker and David Levy.
Dr. Cameron works with homeless people in the Los Angeles metropolitan area, and she reads to children and the elderly at various southern California locations. She is thankful that she is able to help improve others' quality of life. By studying hypnosis and parapsychology, she furthers her curiosity for the power of the mind. Since the age of 6, she has encountered unusual experiences that she could not explain. Dr. Cameron also works with sports hypnosis and stress, anger and pain management. She is amazed by the ways in which the mind works through hypnosis and meditation. She would like to be considered as a professional expert because of her involvement in the fields of close encounters, counseling and extraterrestrial existence. Dr. Cameron served as a convention speaker for the American Board of Hypnotherapy in 1992, 1994 and 2002.
Looking back, Dr. Cameron attributes her success to her drive, desire to learn and help young people, and the support she receives from her husband. She became involved in her profession because she was fascinated by the unusual events that have occurred in her life since the age of 6, which could not be explained by science. The most gratifying aspect of her career is knowing that she has helped people turn their lives around and achieve their dreams.
Dr. Cameron received a Ph.D. in Parapsychology, St. John's University in 2005, a Ph.D. in clinical hypnotherapy from the American Institute of Hypnotherapy in 1987, a Master of Science in elementary and special education from California State University in 1976, a Bachelor of Arts in psychology with a minor in general science and German in 1967, and an Associate of Arts in psychology from Sacramento City College. In addition to her degrees, she is a certified administrator for State of California Public Schools, and a certified teacher for special education and learning-handicaps. She has also received certifications in Reiki II, hypnotic anesthesiology, medical hypnosis, close encounter therapy, thoracic outlet syndrome, and spiritual counseling.
