MindMeister Relaunches State-of-the-Art Mind Mapping App

    MUNICH, GERMANY, January 09, 2014 /24-7PressRelease/ -- MindMeister today released its most significant update in over two years, featuring a completely overhauled user interface and a number of sophisticated new features. MindMeister 9 is recognizable at its flat UI and modified color palette, aiming for professional simplicity with a modern-day look. New features include the long desired export of presentations, full-screen mode and new community functions, amongst others.

With its new design, MindMeister also aims to increase its attractiveness for the business world, eliminating any timidness professionals might have towards the mind map format. MindMeister's map editor comes with a new layout that grants quicker access to important functions and simplifies operation of the tool even further. "Our users won't need any training to find their way around the new editor, but they will benefit greatly from the efficient workflow provided by the economic layout. For an increased focus during brainstorming sessions, mind maps can now also be created and presented in full-screen mode, eliminating all distractions and obstructions provided by editing functions."

Presentation mode, one of MindMeister's stand-out features, was also greatly improved and finally received its long-desired export and embed options. Users will have the ability to export their presentation slides as individual image files and thus present their mind maps outside of MindMeister's map editor. Similarly, presentations can be embedded in blog posts and websites, enabling others to watch prepared slideshows right inside the user's platform of choice.

With over 2.5 million users, MindMeister has long established itself as the market-leading online mind mapping solution. Now, the community's extensive public map library of over 120.000 maps was changed from a five-star rating to the widely used "Like" system, facilitating a clearer picture of the community's feedback. In addition to this the search and filter functions were also enhanced.
