Drawing on two decades of practiced experience in her field, Ms. Oderstone parlays her knowledge into her position with Aurora RM, an enterprise risk management and commercial ship management services provider. With a transparent and well-thought-out approach, Aurora RM offers general enterprise risk management, bunker trading, and commercial and financial ship management. Over the course of the past three years, in her capacity as director, she has overseen financial and internal controls, as well as strategic planning. Utilizing her expertise in the field, Ms. Oderstone was the leading author of "The Risk Management Handbook," which was published in 2005, by the business newspaper that is owned by The Bonnier Group, a privately held Swedish Media Group. She has also been lecturing at several universities regarding financial analysis and property valuation for more than a decade.

In addition to her position with Aurora RM, Ms. Oderstone is the leader of the project Cool Classics, which resulted from her love of classical English literature. Her mission is to inspire business people to bring great English classical literature back from the dusty bookshelves in the library to coffee tables, giving inspiration in modern life and thereby creating a generation of 'Thinkers', linking the generations and raising cultural tradition within family life. Elena Oderstone believes that anyone can discover the genius within his DNA and double his child's future income by reading Shakespeare and other great classical writers and poets.

An experienced public speaker, Ms. Oderstone has regularly spoken at various scientific and sector conferences. In this capacity, she has been interviewed on the radio and on television, and has published various articles in the field. A shining example of excellence in her field, she received a Master of Science in economics. She was recently inducted into Worldwide Branding and also maintains affiliation with The Royal Southampton Yacht Club and The Royal Society of Literature, where she is a patron. She is also a certified yacht master offshore through The Royal Yachting Association. In 2013, she became a patron of the Royal Society of Literature in order to support its educational outreach programme working to widen access to literature. Looking toward the future, Ms. Oderstone aspires to become a $100 million published author and speaker.
