Three Difficult Weather Conditions

Thunderstorms present one of the biggest risks to air travel, specifically in the form of lightning, turbulence, hail and downdrafts. Fortunately, thunderstorms are never a surprise for pilots, but it is still best for them to avoid storm cells or not fly when a storm cell is present.
