Samuel T. Coleridge, DO, Named a Worldwide Who's Who Executive of the Year for Excellence in Health Care Services

(Tim) Coleridge, D.O., Corporate Medical Director of Onsite Occupational Health & Safety Inc., has been named a Worldwide Who's Who Executive of the Year in Health Care Services. Dr. Coleridge, who has more than four decades of experience in the medical field, has been the corporate medical director of Onsite Occupational Health & Safety Inc. for the past three years. The company is one of the leading providers of occupational health services to corporations and groups around the world. In addition, the company has provided medical services for U.S. and NATO forces in Afghanistan, the World Trade Center recovery project and the Hurricane Katrina response team. In his current role with the firm, Dr. Coleridge handles physician recruiting, supervises the provision of medical care at distant locations, modifies guidelines for the provision of medical care in austere locations, and participates in strategic planning for the company's global health care operations.

Prior to his current role with Onsite Occupational Health & Safety, Dr. Coleridge filled a number of key roles with leading medical organizations, including serving as the chair of the Department of Family Medicine at the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine at the University of North Texas Health Science Center, Chair of the Department of Emergency Medicine at Brooke Army Medical Center (now the San Antonio Military Medical Center) and as the Emergency Medicine Consultant to The Surgeon General, United States Army, and Emergency Medicine Consultant to the Army's Health Services Command. During his long career, he has earned a reputation for being a knowledgeable, patient-oriented medical professional with expertise in emergency medicine, family medicine, research, academics and leadership training..

Dr. Coleridge, who entered the occupational health medical field after a career as a United States Army medical officer, holds a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences. He is a leading figure and active officer or board member of multiple state and national organizations, including the American Osteopathic Association, Government Services Chapter of the American College of Emergency Physicians, American College of Osteopathic Emergency Physicians, National Registry of Emergency Physicians, Association of Military Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons, Texas Academy of Family Physicians, and the Tarrant County Academy of Medicine. Outside of his professional life, he devotes himself to a variety of community causes. During his free time, Dr. Coleridge enjoys archaeology and golfing.
