Marilee Brown Honored for Accomplishments in the Law

    NEW BRAUNFELS, TEXAS, January 27, 2014 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Marilee Brown, Attorney of Hazel Brown Wright Reneau, PLLC, has been recognized by Worldwide Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in her profession.

Ms. Brown is in her tenth year of practice and focuses her work in family law, criminal law, probate actions and general civil litigation. Her duties include overseeing all aspects of litigation, including case assessment and evaluation, trial practice, court representation and strategic planning. Of course, she is arguing cases before a variety of courts, as well as supervising associate attorneys and her skilled legal staff.

Recently inducted into Worldwide Who's Who, she also maintains affiliations with the State Bar of Texas Family Law Division, the Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, The College of the State Bar of Texas and the Comal County Bar Association. Her firm supports the Local Junior Chamber of Commerce and the Comal County Fair. Ms. Brown volunteers her time to New Braunfels Teen Court, Bulverde Little League and the Bulverde Fire Department.

Her writings on DWI law have been published in the Texas District and County Attorneys Association magazine, and her work on business torts have been published in the Texas State Bar's Business Litigation Journal. Ms. Brown attributes her success to her perseverance and self-motivation. Her experience as a prosecutor provided a solid base for her courtroom skill, and the following years of entrepreneurship and motherhood to two girls have solidified her determination for success.

A graduate of Texas Tech University School of Law in 2004, Ms. Brown earned a Juris Doctor. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in government from The University of Texas at Austin. She has been licensed by the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas since 2011 and the Supreme Court of Texas since 2004.
