Diane Stauffer Aims to Maintain Excellence in Semiconductor Physical Design

    SAN DIEGO, CA, January 29, 2014 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Peregrine Semiconductor Corp. Staff Engineer, RFIC Layout Diane M. Stauffer has been recognized for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in RFIC Development.

Recognized for more than two and a half decades of invaluable contributions to her field, Ms. Stauffer has found professional success with Peregrine Semiconductor Corp., a high-performance radio frequency integrated circuits provider. For the past three years, in her position as a staff engineer, she has overseen the layout of high-performance RFIC's in ultra CMOS silicon-on-sapphire and silicon-on-insulator processes. Additionally, she supports products during the entire product life cycle, as well as other essential disciplines, including CAD engineering. Ever the dedicated professional, she has worked with challenging 10 gigahertz designs, test structures and digital standard cell development.

Ms. Stauffer became involved in her profession because she was recruited out of tech school by Bell Laboratories, where she was trained in semiconductor layouts by some of the most gifted engineers and layout designers. A shining example of excellence in her field, she has studied electrical engineering and physics, and holds an Associate of Applied Science in electronics technology degree. She was recently inducted into Worldwide Branding for excellence in her field. Looking forward, Ms. Stauffer intends to continue to expand her skill set in the industry.
