We expect to see people with greater confidence, hope and enthusiasm about life after F3
ATLANTA, GA, February 04, 2014 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Face, Fashion, Flirting Atlanta, or "F3 Atlanta," kicks off women's history month in March with an unforgettable experience that seeks to inspire the accentuation of natural beauty: the Canvas of Your Face; fascination with one's figure and frame: the Canvas of Your Body; and risk to love: the Canvas of Your Heart.
With the theme "Your Life as a Canvas," F3 is Saturday, March 1, at elegant 200 Peachtree in downtown Atlanta, Georgia. Darlene McCoy, recording artist, author, radio host on ATL Praise 102.5 FM, is hosting the event. Ariane Davis, star of "Love and Hip Hop" Atlanta, will be the red carpet host.
The five-hour experience begins at 4:30 with a VIP reception and then transitions at 5 p.m. into the face or cosmetics/skin enhancement session, which includes makeovers, demonstrations and product testing by GCB Cosmetics. Special guest is Roosevelt Cartwright, who was Oprah Winfrey's Emmy-nominated makeup artist for more than 20 years. By 6:30 p.m., the fashion show unfolds with live music and even live art going on simultaneously. Special guest Dakoro Edwards, Atlanta's "Abstract Artist of the Year" 2012, will paint as the models strut in everything from designer evening wear to lingerie with the help of celebrity fashion stylist Troy Clinton. According to fashion show coordinator Heaven Caffee of Sieylan Creations, "The designs will range from fun to seductive, all with the intention to show the audience how to flirt with fashion."
By 8 p.m., the real flirting begins with Speed Love and its guest relationship coach: best-selling author Stephan Labossiere. Attendees can join Speed Love's unique speed dating and matchmaking sessions until the experience concludes at 10 p.m. Food will be available throughout the event.
The vision of Gina Clements Boyd, founder of GCB Cosmetics, F3 is the premiere life transformation event that empowers women to recreate themselves by expressing their authenticity through their face, fashion and flirting. The mission is to empower others to become the architect of their natural beauty through their relationship with their face, their body, and their heart. "We expect to see people with greater confidence, hope and enthusiasm about life after F3."
During each event, F3 is committed to selecting a charity to support. This year, F3 has chosen the Busy Empowering and Employing Students (BEES) program of Every Woman Works, Inc, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization established in 2004 that successfully provides practical and supportive services for economically disadvantaged women with employment barriers. Every Woman Works will receive a percentage of the proceeds from the event, as well as receive free services (makeovers, etc.) during the event and participate as hosts or even models. Attendees can directly sponsor these women with GCB's "Beauty in a Bag" and/or non-event related donations to support the organization's efforts.
General admission tickets are $25 and VIP tickets are $45 until Feb. 7. After that, tickets are $35 and $55, respectively. Student tickets are $20 until the day of the event. VIP tickets include red carpet reception event, complimentary glass of wine and food, and VIP seating.
