The Mercy Coalition Lends A Helping Hand To A Local Family

    SAN ANTONIO, TX, February 05, 2014 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The Mercy Coalition is stepping in to help Stacy Bridges, who was struck by a suspected drunk driver in December 2013, and her family. Bridges, the sole provider for her mother and two daughters, has undergone multiple surgeries and remains in a coma since the accident. It's not yet known if she will experience brain damage.

The Mercy Coalition will be hosting a 5K walk/run on Feb. 8, at Walker Ranch Historic Landmark Park in San Antonio, Texas, to help offset the cost of the family's healthcare expenses.

This pet-friendly event begins at 7:30 a.m. Early entrants pay $25, with 100 percent of the proceeds going directly to Stacy and her family. The entry fee is $35 after January 24.
