A member of the fashion industry for a total of 44 years, Ms. Subic has served as a freelance pattern maker for companies such as Topwear Fashions, Dominex, Jag, Country Road, Sally Brown, Autumn Clothing, and Hilton Stores. In the 1970s, she was the head pattern maker for Norma Tullo. She found a place in this industry after gaining a foundation in the former Yugoslavia. Upon migrating to Australia at 18 years of age, she immediately found a job in the fashion sector in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, and never looked back.
