Jacqueline Roy Honored for Excellence in Environmentally Aware Construction

    QUEBEC, CANADA, February 26, 2014 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Jacqueline Roy, M.Sc., PMP, Senior Vice President of Environment at Roche Ltee, Groupe-Conseil, has been recognized for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in environmental study.

With 24 years of experience in her field, Ms. Roy is known for her expertise in environmental impact studies. Daily, she is tasked with overseeing finances, client contact, and a team of 40, providing environmental impact studies for linear construction, meeting with clients and assessing their needs, writing proposals, supervising and approving proposals before sending them to clients, and staffing.

Roche Ltee, Groupe-Conseil provides engineering and construction services. The group has conducted environmental studies since the early 1970s and has established an expertise in the field that is sought out by clients both in Canada and abroad. Roche develops and carries out projects that meet the most recent environmental, social and economic performance criteria, and that subscribes to the principles of sustainable development.

A recent inductee in Worldwide Branding, Ms. Roy became involved in her profession because she wanted to be part of the economic growth by helping her clients to develop projects that are environmentally acceptable. Her rigorous integrity and leadership skills are two qualities that helped her to be recognized in her field. She has done project management and environmental impact studies for almost all major highways in the Province of Quebec. She has also worked on projects in New Caledonia and Africa.

Well-equipped to thrive in her field, Ms. Roy earned a master's degree in biology, a bachelor's degree in biology, and is a certified project management professional. Recognized for her work, she was the recipient of the Technical Award for Environmental Achievement from the Transportation Association of Canada (TAC). In the years ahead, Ms. Roy intends to develop sales and profits in her area.
