RALEIGH, NC, April 02, 2014 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The North Carolina Press Club, an affiliate chapter of the National Federation of Press Women (NFPW) announced Christina Motley, CEO and CMO, as a winner of its 2013 Annual Communications Contest today. Motley swept the state of North Carolina, winning 11 First Place awards.
The contest recognizes and awards excellence in communications across a wide range of categories. Known leaders in their fields of expertise judge entries. First place recipients of state awards compete nationally. Winners will be honored at the NFPW Annual Communications Contest Awards Banquet during the organization's annual conference, September 5-7 in Greenville, SC.
Awards received included First Place Awards across 11 categories for writing and editing for the web, speech writing, report writing, headline writing, blogging, community relations, social media campaigns, marketing programs, direct mail marketing and public relations.
"Good communications leads to better understanding and mutual confidence, while strategic integrated marketing approaches produce optimum ROI for businesses," said Motley. "It is an honor to have my work stand up to my peers' and uphold the ethical standards of NFPW, as well as receive positive comments from expert judges."
Motley has been a member of NFPW since 1992 and is a former three-time Virginia Sweepstakes Communications Contest Winner.
