Raymond R. Quintin, Certified Public Accountant with over 25 years of exemplary service, is the Director of Accounting and Auditing with Cherry Bekaert and Holland.

Mr. Quintin earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree at the University of Notre Dame in 1981. Continuing his education, he received his Masters in Business Administration in Accounting and Finance at William E. Simon School of Business in Rochester, New York.

In the 12 years following his graduation, Raymond R. Quintin, CPA worked for one of the Big Four accounting companies where his responsibilities included engagement manager and engagement partner on a number of Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) entities. He was also responsible for overseeing employee benefit, health care and utility clients. Mr. Quintin also served two years as controller for a dyestuff manufacturer where, in addition to being plan benefit administrator, his responsibilities included overseeing all financial areas of the company.

Upon moving his talents to Cherry Bekaert & Holland, Mr. Quintin began as a Partner in the Charlotte practice. Raymond R. Quintin's unique blend of audit and practical experience makes him an invaluable asset to Cherry Bekaert & Holland. Recognizing his diverse talents, Mr. Quintin was made Director of Accounting and Auditing and is responsible for technical and quality control of the firm's Assurance Services practice.

Additionally, Mr. Raymond R. Quintin is an instructor for various general audit courses. Mr. Quintin has also worked with a team of representatives from several other large regional firms to formulate solutions in dealing with various compliance and reporting issues. His areas of expertise include, but are not limited to, US GAAP and GAAS, International Accounting Standards and SEC reporting.

Raymond R. Quintin is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the North Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants (NCACPA).
