LOS ANGELES, CA, April 18, 2014 /24-7PressRelease/ -- STUSA, aka Senior Theatre USA, is coming to Atlantic City June 8-12 with their 2014 Festival and Conference on the world famous Boardwalk. The host site will be the fabulous Bally's Casino and Hotel. STUSA Hosts senior theatre festivals all over the country and serves as a central resource for senior theatres, as well. The festival will feature workshops and special events and celebrated keynote speakers like Dr. Beverly Vaughn and Patti D'Beck. Dr. Vaughn is a professor of music at Richard Stockton College and will personally greet all STUSA attendees on June 8th with a rousing, toe-tapping, hand clapping Gospel Greetings.
Beverly Vaughn, herself is a multi-performer who has entertained and thrilled audiences all over the world.
Another keynote speaker will be Patti D'Beck. An assistant professor of theatre at Virginia Commonwealth University, Patti brings a touch of Broadway to the Senior Theatre USA Festival. Come join Patti and dance for the national media and help break the Guinness Book of Records for Senior Flash Mob Dancing on the AC Boardwalk.
Don't miss Mystery Dinner Theatre writing with John Pekich. Pekich has written, co-produced, directed and even acted in countless Mystery Dinner Theatre shows on the East Coast. Participants will write and perform their play at the final Senior Theatre USA dinner Wednesday night June 11, 2014. Dinner guests, including all other participants in the Senior Theatre USA Festival, will be part of the show, adding to a very unique experience for all.
STUSA will also feature a plethora of Workshops, Playwriting, Comedy, Musical Theatre and Dance along with Memorization Techniques, Life-Writing, Living History and more. STUSA is still seeking facilitators for the workshops and submissions have been extended to April 30th.
