As Aunt Em for the last three years, she has been a wordsmith and business communications specialist
BRISBANE, AUSTRALIA, May 13, 2014 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Frances Cahill, Founder and Director of Ask Aunt Em, has been recognized by Worldwide Branding for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in her profession.
Ms. Cahill, with 35 years of experience in the consulting field, gives nonjudgmental career and life advice. Her motto is "With humor and warmth, I can enhance your skills." She is an expert in writing, public speaking, engaging audiences, and humor.
As Aunt Em for the last three years, she has been a wordsmith and business communications specialist. She developed a six-step program for better communication skills. Her duties are overseeing the company, managing marketing, promotions, sales and accounting, and, of course, interacting with clients.
Ms. Cahill's career path included working in public administration for more than 28 years, where she was training staff to write speeches and documents. She also worked at Radio 2EA and SBS TV, while living in Aurukun, Western Cape York, for five months, and performing what she called the "blue-footed-booby-will-you-marry-me-dance" in front of a group of Tasmanian local politicians and dignitaries as a Joey Scout leader. Actually, she has been performing as a singer since she learned she could sing at age 4. She has been developing public speaking skills since that time when she started performing.
Her academic background is in linguistics, in which she holds an honours degree from the University of New England and is pursuing a master's degree from The Australian National University.
Ms. Cahill is passionate about the value of quality speaking and writing skills, and is an engaging and spirited trainer. She will let you in on the secrets of good presentation skills. Her mission is to create articulate and confident adults, teenagers and kids.
In the future, Ms. Cahill aims to be on the world stage, telling people that public speaking is not a death sentence. She has already been featured on National 9 News Report regarding her findings on the texting danger to kids. She was invited twice, to the local and national radio, regarding apostrophes, writing skills and all things grammar.
She also wants to raise awareness that good writing skills will never be replaced by technology. She attributes her success to her determination, passion and humor, as well as her ability to adapt. In recognition of her accomplishments, she was recently inducted into Worldwide Branding.
