"In the area of IV therapy, a lot is asked of nurses in terms of ensuring patient safety, comfort, satisfaction and setting patients up for a positive outcome. What makes this award special is that all nurses must be nominated by their peers. Nominated nurses specialized in a variety of areas including infusion therapy, surgery, oncology, pediatrics, orthopedics and critical care to name a few. We are excited to open new opportunities to recognize and engage clinicians, especially when it comes to IV therapy and ways to improve patient outcomes."
