Michelle Michael joined Dlamini Michael Incorporated nine years ago, after establishing herself as a litigation attorney in South Africa. She was inspired to become a lawyer as she always wanted to help others. She earned a Bachelor of Laws in 2004 and has since handled conveyance, labor law, and debt collection. Ms. Michael also specializes in criminal, civil and business law.
Dlamini Michael Incorporated evolved from a small practice in Verulam in August 2005, and it currently employs 10 staff members. In 2014, the firm joined forces with S.A.Singh and Associates to enhance the capabilities of both firms.
As a conveyancer, Ms. Michael has experience in sectional title transfers, conventional land transfers, bonds, certificates of registered title, sub divisions of land, estate transfers and endorsements, opening sectional title register, recordal and cancellation of recordal agreements and the registration of notarial bonds. As a notary, she specializes in anti-nuptial contracts, the delineation and registration of exclusive use areas, notarial wills, notarial trusts and authentication of foreign documents for use in the country and out of the country.
Ms. Michael has earned Bachelor of Laws from UNISA and she is a qualified attorney, a qualified conveyancer and a qualified notary public with a certificate in the administration of deceased estate. She also earned a diploma in solvency through the University of Pretoria.
To keep on top of industry changes, Ms. Michael affiliates with the Law Society of South Africa, the Black Lawyers Association, the Women Property Network, the Business Women's Association of South Africa, SALWA and The South African Women Lawyers Association, and she acts as the secretary of the Black Conveyancers Association. She was instrumental in drafting the Youth Commission Act in Kwa Zulu Natal.
