Steve Sukbum Kim Honored for Success in Financial Consulting

    SEOUL, SOUTH KOREA, May 21, 2014 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Steve Sukbum Kim, Vice President of The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited, has been recognized by Worldwide Branding for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in investment strategy.

Mr. Kim has 26 years of industry experience, building an expertise in investment law, collecting and finance. His duties in his current role of five years are overseeing the sub-custody of the business, managing funds and executing trades. In the future, he aims to retire and pursue art advisory work while providing individual financial consulting services.

Successful because of natural curiosity, English skills and legal background, Mr. Kim became involved in his profession after developing an interest in finance. He started by taking a temporary position at a Korean bank, and worked his way up.

His efforts were aided by his impressive education. Now a doctoral candidate of Korea University's Graduate School of International Law, Mr. Kim already holds three master's degrees. One is from the University of Pennsylvania (1996), one is in International Law from Korea University (1987) and one is in Comparative Commercial Law from The Pennsylvania State University (1995).

In recognition of all his achievements, which include the Best Restructuring in Banking from the IFR Asia Awards in 1998, Mr. Kim was recently inducted into Worldwide Branding. He also maintains affiliations as a former president of the Kyung Hee Gung Rotary Club at 3650 District and the Heart Group, and as a Senior Advisor of Trustee of TLBU Graduate School of Law in Seoul. He is the former president of the Kyung Hee Gung Rotary Club.
